The Corvettes at Carlisle show is the world's largest Corvette extravaganza and provides Corvette enthusiast from all generations with a weekend of entertainment, education and of course the ability to drive in the famous parade. Representatives from GM onsite all weekend. A 50th Anniversary Celebration for the 1958 Corvette on display.

All Vehicles of 1978 and earlier manufacture are welcome to enter the event. Even though you may not be in your street rod everyone is welcome to attend the event. Bring the whole family for a day at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Activities besides the spectacular vehicles and their owners are; the Commercial Exhibitors, Swap Meet and a Women's World (exhibitors with items that will interest women as well as men and children). The Annual Friday Evening Cruise through the neighboring roads is always an event to see, 250 entrants cruise to the cheers and applause of thousands of area residents. Games and activities, live music. Meet Alan Johnson legendary pinstriper and artist. Wheely fun, watch the Motor Maniac contest, the famous Wheels of Time Teeter-Totter, Flea market and vendors, if its automotive you'll find it here. Great food at the Food Court. For the 30th year of the WOTSRA Rod and Custom Jamboree the Reinford Brothers "Moose Crew" along with Horace Reinford's "WildMoose" '55 Chevy. If you are there at the right time you will not only get to see it but hear it loud and clear too. A large display of wheels standers from the East Coast Gassers will be there. For the Monster Truck fans Dennis Anderson's Grave Digger '51 Chevy 3 time Monster Jam World Finals winner. With 540 cubic inches of Chevy power this truck lives up to the description Monster Truck. No Pets or Skateboards permitted in the park.

The Carlisle Auctions is Waiving Consignment Fees for 2008. They have also announced they will waive all bidder registration fees for qualified buyers. Lifting the Consignment Fees is a major change to the business structure and is an industry first. All Generations of Corvettes are Welcome.

The Fall Carlisle collector car swap meet is entering its 35th year as the world’s largest swap meet and corral. With approximately 6,500 vendors, over 2,000 vehicles for sale and more than 110,000 attendees, it is no wonder that Carlisle, PA has been named “America’s Automotive Hometown.”

Come to the Inaugural Daytona Beach Dream Cruise. This terrific new event will be held the 4th weekend of October each year, the weekend after the tremendously successful Biketoberfest created by the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Already known for a tremendous car & truck events, the Daytona Beach area will now host a great new event each fall .... "The Daytona Beach Dream Cruise." This event is intended to be distinct from existing Daytona Beach area automotive events. Cruise a 9 miles stretch along Atlantic Avenue (A1A) from Ormond Beach through Daytona Beach into Daytona Beach Shores. Lots of Activities Day & Night will be happening besides cruising next to the Worlds Most Famous Beach. Elvis Tribute Artists at Gill's Pub 44, Raabe Racing will have an Open House, another Open House at the World Headquarters of Crane Cams. Stay tuned to their web site for updated info on the event.

Registration for 2008 Daytona Turkey Run is open. The Turkey Run accepts all "show quality" vehicles thru 1979. This includes all Rods, Customs, Antiques, Vehicles under construction and 100% stock vehicles. The 2008 35th Turkey Run Give-Away Car is a Red 1965 Comet Caliente Convertible. Tickets for this raffle car are $2 each or 3 for $5 They go on sale June 2008. The 2007 Turkey Run registered 5195 cars.
