5th Annual Rims on the River Vintage car, Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show

5th Annual Rims on the River Vintage Car, Hot Rod  & Motorcycle Show -  Cars and Motorcycles 1980 and older, line the streets of the historic downtown area, with the Cape Fear River and the diverse collection of retail stores as their backdrop. This event has grown into a premier show, drawing a wide array of cars from the entire southeast region of the state, as well as a few neighboring states, totaling approximately 400 vehicles on display last year. More Room for 2009, the event will now expand south on Front St. all the way down to Orange St., we will also expand North on Front St., to Cape Fear Community College. These changes should allow us to be able to accommodate the number of vehicles we’re expecting this year!

Trophies for various classes of cars and motorcycles. New event T-shirts, 50/50 raffle. thanks Fat Tony ... Fat Tony’s will give every paid participant a half off pizza buffet coupon. Be sure to thank these guys for helping out!

A new addition this year will be “The Corral” Vehicles that are for sale, no fees & Vendor and Swap for anything that is car related. Tinting, car artwork, cleaning products, engines, clothing Éyou get the idea. No new product dealers are allowed in this area. Vendor space will cost $75.00 for a 10’ X 10” space. Swap meet space is $25.00 for a 10’ x 10’ space.  The Corral will be located at the corner of Princess St. and N. Front Street.
