  • There is no doubt this was a great show, Cars, Cars & More Cars - Sunday's induction in the Hall of Fame was the best. And although the weather was a little chilly it made the Hot Chocolate all the better! Met some really great local folks and spoke to many of the racers. Stay tuned to Still Runnin's future issues for feature stories on some of these great racers and the show itself, way worth the trip! Plan to be there next year if you haven't already.

  • hate to say but i missed the first 2 henderson shows! wow who would have known what the best kept secret car show event anywhere was really happining here!best of all beevery yearsides the free part is shaking hands with garlits,bonner.platt,beswick,sox,warren ,reed,west,estevez and too many more to list.if you dont know these guys by one name you are too young or just not with it man. can you go to hollywood and see and talk to dozens of todays stars?never.if you love the real drag racing and hundreds of old cool cars and the nostalgia thing you should have been there!make plans for 2009 now.take some more non belivers as i once was and about 200 pictures to snap so you can tell more people.heck they wanted to send me away when i told about this show until i brought out my proof! look at their website and drool.great to see stillrunnin there too.

  • What a great show this year. Despite the weather we all had a great time. What a fantastic place to get a "Bolgna Burger"...all the way of course. Again, hundreds of cars graced the main street of my home town, then we got together at the local drive-in (Yes, a real live working and restored 'drive in' MOVIE THEATER) and GREASE was the word! We also had to play a newer movie, something about some Eagle Eye thing. Yes, it's a drive in theater playing 1st run movies!! And you thought Henderson was just a sleepy little town!! It might be the rest of the year but this time of year we really know how to SHAG, SHINE, SHOW and DINE!!!

    Y'all come back now, ya hear!!
