Unsolved Cases
I am the current owner of a 1964 GTO convertible. I purchased the car in Mine Hill, NJ in 1974 from a small car lot. The car is a very early production car, 3x2's, 4 speed black / black top, red interior, ps, wood wheel, tach, washer/wipers, day/night mirror. When purchased it had Bob & Barb written on dashpad. PMD Historical Society says the car is too early in production to tell me anything other than basics (3x2s, 4speed, color etc.)
Anyone with information such as original owner, additional owners, which dealer it was ordered from, etc. regarding this car would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Still Runnin.
Past Lives of Your Ride
The “Little Giant”
This is the story of one of the most popular custom trucks an Orange 1951 Crosley Station Wagon that was converted to a Panel Truck by George Brazee. Owned by the Brazee Bros. members of the Watertown Customs in Watertown, CT. This car ran from 1963 to 1966 and considered Dover Drag Strip in Wingdale, NY to be it's “Home Track”. In 1966 the car was sold to Fred Harrison in Bantam, CT. The last time the car was seen racing was at Lebanon Valley, New York in 1970. The car was last spotted in a field located in the area of Rhinebeck, New York in Dutchess County.

This column is a monthly feature for owners who would like to find out as much as can be learned about your rides. Be sure to list the year, options, and as much as you know about the car. Any modifications made before you purchased it might help someone to recognize the car. Good luck!
