Past Lives of your Ride...

My dad picked this up in Northern California back in late 2006. He worked on it off and on while collecting most of the missing parts. It has now landed in my garage. I’m in search for anyone who knows any history on this old ‘56 Vette. When the car was purchased it was just a body, no frame, and came from Marina, California. As you can see from the markings “Bad Blood” in the insert and “Evan’s Electric” on the rear quarters, it was a race car at one point. It supposedly ran in and around the Bakersfield, CA area in the late 60’s. I am putting it back together Gasser style, but would appreciate any knowledge on previous ownership, history or photographs about this Vette.

This column is a monthly feature for owners who would like to find out as much as can be learned about their rides. Be sure to list the year, options, and as much as you know about the car.  Any modifications made before you purchased it might help someone to recognize the car. Good luck!
