Since we were on our way to the Hot Rods & Harleys show we were restricted to just stopping by to check the cars and the scheduled activities for Saturday and Sunday, but judging from what we saw, this get together looks like it would be a blast. Mud was the order of the day as we arrived sloshing and sliding the Vette in to the fairgrounds where there is an oval dirt track that, had there been no rain, they would have wet it down anyway.
There seemed to be a lot of people camping right by the track and the few people that we met, had the old time thought pattern of early hotrodders, build them to run, and use them.
Unfortunately, we could only stay a little while, but we did have time to meet and talk to members of the “Ballbusters” club who had driven there cars from Wilkes-Barre. We need to spend a weekend at this event and suggest you include this to your things to do list.
