13th Annual Bunny Run - Corvette Charity Show
Years ago, Nadine Madison and Lori Dolan wanted to do something for the community. After some thought the ladies chose the Children’s Hospital on Brook Road in Richmond. Going to a Hospital can be a scary place, especially for children. The first upcoming holiday just “so-hoppened” to be Easter. The two women also “so-hoppen” to be car enthusiast and members of the Corvette Club of Richmond, VA

Nadine and Lori hopped into action and planned a Bunny Run to the Children’s Hospital with the Corvette Club of Richmond. A parade of Corvettes would escort plush stuffed bunnies to the Children’s Hospital.
The Corvette Club of Richmond, invited the Corvette community, non members included, to come out again this year on Saturday, April 4th to join in the 13th Annual Bunny Run. The event fee, a new plush stuffed bunny ... and bunnies there were!
At 12:15 pm not far from the hospital Corvettes gathered at the designated meeting place, Smith Turf & Irrigation, where we met Corvette owners mingled while waiting for others to arrive. Cecile Custer, event coordinator for this run called a quick meeting and thanked everyone for attending and set the parade in motion.
We were met by hospital staff members who helped unload 950 bunnies from the Corvettes. Many of the hospitals children were able to come out to the court yard, their eyes were bright at the sight of the many Corvettes that paraded by. It was a wonderful day for everyone involved, so if you have a Corvette ... mark your calendars and join the Corvette Club of Richmond next year for the 14th Annual Bunny Run aka Bunnies for Babes. The Club was established in 1960 and welcomes you to join in their membership.
