Two Vietnam Vets
We are proud to live in a place we call the "Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free". For that, we can be thankful to All of our Veterans that have fought in the wars of the past and present.
Two Vietnam Vets displayed a 1955 Ford at the Turkey Run in Daytona Beach, Florida at a previous car show. They had hand painted and airbrushed the car with great pride and dedicated it to all of the Vietnam Veterans. The car serves as a rolling memorial for all those who served and reminder of our POW's and MIA's. The roof of the Ford bears signatures of numerous veterans, while the back window serves as a looking glass at a game of war made up of those small plastic green figures of army men that we all played with for hours as children. But the game is a bit different through this window of a time and place that was anything but make believe for the 58,579 brothers and sisters who never returned home from the Vietnam war.
God Bless our men and women serving this great country, we pray every day for their safe return to US soil! Still Runnin Magazine and its staff thank all of those who have served, and know that we will never forget! We hold close to our heart and honor all of our veterans, from all wars this past Memorial Day and everyday for the freedom they have defended and afforded us. We will Never Forget! For we know that Freedom is NOT free. God Bless all of you and the U.S.A.

SR Side Note:
The names of the owner and two men that painted this car has escaped from my notes. I trust through word of mouth and the power of the internet that someone will alert them to the fact that Still Runnin Magazine has recognized them in our publication.
To all of the Fathers over seas, a special Father's Day wish and prayer has been sent from all of us here in the U.S.A.!
