Take a Ride
Ahhh, the Good Ol’ Days! Remember hanging out in the back seat of dad’s car traveling down the road looking out the back seat window hoping to pass a roadside building in the shape of an ice cream cone or some other product?
On U.S. Route 60 in Lexington, VA, on the eastbond side, if you’re paying attention you might spot this two story metal pot. It is 22 feet tall and 20 feet in diameter and opened as a restaurant in 1959. It is one of the few “Good Ol’ Days” roadsides that has survived. Take a ride, see if you can find it. I bet they had great coffee!
