Back on the road to Jersey, the Vette ran great though out the night putting us in Rahway, NJ about 1:30 am. As I unloaded the car I realized what a good thing it was that the car was fiberglass.  As bad as it leaks, it would have rusted away years ago.  Saturday was cool and clear, a beautiful day as we took in all the cars and bikes at the Hot Rods & Harleys show. Drawing over 13 thousand visitors the town of Rahway really outdid itself making everyone feel welcome.

Bubba Blackwell performed his motorcycle stunts on the street in front of Liberty Harley Davidson. Crazy and personable, he used a variety of bikes from a dresser to a Buell Blast and everything in-between.  We met and spoke with the owner of Liberty H-D, who gave us a brief history overview of the show.  The town was a little skeptical at first, but has warmed up to Hot Rods, Harleys, and beer being in close proximity of each other.
