Pioneer Bob Beaumont Dies

Bob Beaumont, Electric Car Pioneer died at the age of 79, on October 24th, 2011 at his Maryland home. In the 1970's Bob built and championed the first mass produced electric vehicle in the United States, leaving his mark in Auto history by starting up the Sebring-Vanguard Co., and building the tiny Citi-Car. RIP & God Speed.
